Dry, Frizzy hair can be very difficult to handle and style. Dull, frizzy hair is not something that you want..so why not get rid of it?Lack of moisture is the main reason for dry, frizzy hair. Supply your hair the right amount of hydration, nutrients and care and in no time, you will experience smooth, frizz-free hair. Try my 3 DIY hair masks to achieve the shiny, bouncy hair you have been dreaming of. You can always eyeball the ingredients and make in required quantities depending on the length of your hair.

1. AVOCADO, BANANA AND YOGURT MASK:

From the ingredient list itself, you can predict that this mask is gonna be super hydrating. Avocados are rich in healthy fatty acids and Vitamin E, which provide intense hydration and work like magic on frizzy hair. Bananas are a great way to add the moisture back into your hair. Loaded with potassium, carbohydrates and vitamins, this is truly a miracle fruit for your skin and hair. It conditions the hair and adds shine and bounce.Yogurt is also a great hydrating ingredient, which replenishes the moisture back into your dry locks. It detangles the hair easily, reduces frizz and adds great shine. Zinc and lactic acid present in the yogurt help in the hair growth, which is definitely an added benefit. This is my go to mask for treating my extremely dry, frizzy, curly hair. I personally prefer to throw this in to my blender because it forms a creamy paste without chunks and is easy to apply, easy to wash off.

2.EGGS,OLIVE OIL AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:

This protein rich mask is a great way to smooth your hair and combat frizz. Eggs are a great source of protein. The yolk part of the egg contains essential fats and proteins, which greatly nourish the hair. The enzyme packed egg whites kill bacteria and imparts shine. Apple Cider Vinegar is a great addition to this mask as its acidic properties help in closing the cuticles of the hair shaft, leaving you with smooth, shiny, frizz-free hair. Also, the smell of egg cannot be felt by adding vinegar to it.So don't hesitate to add in the yolks too. Olive oil locks  the moisture into your hair.  Do not use more than one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, as it can be harsh when used in excess.

3. COCONUT MILK, HONEY AND SHEA BUTTER:

Coconuts are the girl's best friends, I must say. Extract some coconut milk if you have the availability or else, get a can from your local grocery store. Scoop out some Shea butter and slightly warm it up in the oven. Add the warm shea butter and honey to the coconut milk and mix it on. Coconut milk is very moisturizing, rich in protein and is great for repairing the dry, damaged, frizzy hair. Your split ends will also be taken care of!! Honey is a natural humectant and helps your hair in retaining moisture. Shea butter is an intense moisturizing agent and is filled with vitamin A and healthy fatty acids. Curly hair girls can swear by this magical butter.

So, let me know which one of these is your favorite.. <3
