Putting only those things on your skin, that you put in your mouth is the best way to care for your skin in my opinion. A homemade recipe, whipped up right in your kitchen with the ingredients that you already have, works wonders when followed religiously, when compared to the $100 cream you purchased from the store. With homemade recipes, you know each and every ingredient that is going on to your skin! What is more heavenly than pampering your skin with a freshly prepared batch of skin food, that nourishes and repairs it?
Today, I am going to share with you an amazing skin scrub recipe, which literally takes a minute to prepare!! The ingredient list is very simple -- you just need 2 ingredients.
  • 3 -4 Almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Almond milk (You can even skip the almond milk if you don't have it handy. You can replace it with rose water)
Take 3-4 almonds. Using a mortar and pestle, grind the almonds by adding the almond milk. Don't make a very fine paste since you will be using it as a scrub. The consistency should be like the one shown in the picture. See, its so simple and easy to make!!! The results will be amazing and long lasting when you use it consistently. You can use this scrub once or twice a week.

Scrub your face with this mixture for 1-2 minutes. Leave it on for a couple of minutes and once your face starts to dry, wet your hands with almond milk and massage it for a couple of minutes. Once it is dry, its time to wash off. Use lukewarm water to clean your face and do not apply soap immediately.

Vitamin E in almonds hydrated your skin and nourishes it deeply. It is great for repairing your skin cells and gently exfoliates it without stripping your skin off its natural oils.

There you go!! A great effective scrub without any chemicals, Enjoy!! Do share your experiences with me if you try it. I would like to hear from you guys!!
