Face is the important part of our body and none of us want a dull skin with dark spots or acne. All of us dream for that flawless, glowing celebrity skin. It is very important to follow a good skin care regimen to maintain your skin looking fresh and young. So cleansing, toning and moisturizing should be a part of your daily routine just like how brushing your teeth is a part of it. 

Coming to cleansing, it is very important to chose a good quality cleanser. However, most of the store brought cleansers are filled with preservatives and harsh chemicals which do more harm than good. Even most of the cleansers that claim to be organic and natural are just green washed. So why not choose a natural DIY cleanser?

DIY natural cleansers can be a best bet for any skin types because -- one,  it can be customized to meet your specific skin needs. Two, it does not contain any preservatives and all the ingredients are acquired from your kitchen. You basically know what you are putting on your skin.

In this post, I am going to share with you an easy, quick DIY natural cleanser. All you need for this is:

1. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

2. 1 tablespoon honey

3. 1 tablespoon milk (You can use  regular milk. I used Almond milk for this recipe)

Mix these ingredients in a air tight glass container and store it in fridge. Use this every morning and night to clean your face. Apply this mixture on your face using a cotton pad and leave it for 15 min. then wash it off with lukewarm water. 

Lemon is a great clarifying agent and absorbs the excess oil. It is rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C brightens the skin, evens out the skin tone, reduces the appearance of dark spots. It is great for people with acne prone skin. Milk and honey are great moisturizing agents. People with dry skin can increase the quantity of milk and honey for an extra boost of moisture.

Remember to prepare this in small batches instead of preparing a large batch and using it for several days. This cleanser is great for people with all skin types and ages.
